In Norway, Public Libraries have Climbing Walls

Well, at least one does! What a great idea for the kids' section! Children can't sit still all the time and this solution gives them both an outlet for their energy and a way to see the world from a different perspective, just as any good book would do. These photos are from Asker Library (just outside Oslo). I haven't visited other libraries here yet, so I don't know if this is a common feature! They also have xbox games you can play there, tons of computers, and several auto check out machines so there's rarely any waiting time.
I was also impressed by a quite large section of young adult books, Thomas got to check out more books in certain series he's reading!
